PRESIDENT

Harvey McWhorter is a graduate of Samford University in Birmingham, Alabama.  With 39 years of experience in accounting and auditing, Harvey has held various management and leadership roles.  He has spent the majority of his career in the flooring and textile industries.

Harvey is currently President of McWhorter Capital Partners.  Prior to joining McWhorter Capital Partners, he worked for West Point Pepperell, Virginia Chemicals, Bidermann Industries/Great American Knitting Mills, and most recently, Mannington Mills, one of the largest complete flooring manufacturing companies in the world.

At Mannington Mills, Harvey led the accounting and finance functions for the Commercial Business Unit.  He also coordinated legal matters including contracts and terms and conditions of sale as well as insurance and intellectual property.

Harvey and his wife, Suzan, reside in Cartersville, Georgia where they are members of Heritage Baptist Church.  They have 3 sons-Josh, Joey and Jacob.  In his spare time, Harvey enjoys spending time with his family, golf, working around the house and sports, especially University of Alabama football.
